Cinema Queer runs Sweden’s largest international LGBTQ+ Film Festival, now in its 15th year — highlighting stories that go beyond existing norms and broadening the heteronormative cinematic landscape. This year’s (scout-themed) festival opened at Naturhistoriska riksmuseet and took place at MDT Moderna Dansteatern, Accelerator and Galleri Korvfabriken to name a few. The festival offers audiences a wide range of queer art and expression — over 45 films, performances and parties throughout one week.
